Guidelines
(Kata)
Rule# 25.1
Competitors must compete
in the kata division that pertains to the highest kata that they have learned.
The following guidelines will
be used to determine what kata you or your child should enter.

(Weapons and Point Fighting)
Rule#25.2
Competitors must compete
in the division that pertains to their rank at the date of each
tournament
in the series.
Competitor must
move up to next highest rank group if the promotion makes them higher than rank
group that they have competed in previously.
The following guidelines will be used to determine what rank group you or your child should enter. If you or your child is promoted to a higher group, you must note this on your application for for the next tournament. If your or your child's belt color does not correspond to the rank listed below, ask your instructor or sensei to define your or your child's kyu rank.
