PEARL CLEAGUE
|
Founded by Dr. Alex Boyd, the Director of the Newark, New Jersey Public Library, the BCALA Awards honor outstanding work by African American authors. Winners receive the BCALA Medallion and an honorarium of $500. Winners are announced during the American Library Association's Midwinter Meeting and the Awards are presented at the Annual Conference. The winners of the Literary Award for Fiction are as follows.
