CLUB NEWS
There were 13 member at the February meeting.
A thank you was read from Erica Sutherland for the scholarship she received
from the club. The card she wrote it on had a piece of her art work on the
front--very nice.
Florine told club that Eleanor Nielson’s husband passed away. Eleanor used
to be a member.
Stevenie announced that she will be our treasurer and Kim said she would
be secretary--they had originally were holding office on a temporary basis----a
big thanks to both ladies !
Club voted to donate $50.00 to NAME in Jan’s memory. Joanne will send it
to NAME along with an “In Memory” item about Jan.
Joanne said she has found containers that the tote bag favors for NAME National
in Orlando will fit into so that the hats won’t get damaged. Marianne has
received a lot of hats, boas and canes, but not enough for the 651 that we
need / had hoped to be able to send to NAME.
Joanne met with Ron Brass and picked up all of Jan’s miniatures that Ron
was donating to club. In the future, Jan’s minis will be combined with
Nancy’s for our grabs.
Marianne was in charge of our project for the evening---a bird house. A
really cute project and each and everyone was entirely different
