The new guy: Buddy on his first day in our home.
Is it me, or does he look somewhat apprehensive? (01/03)

Crash welcomes Buddy to the house.
Perhaps the source of his apprehension? (01/03)

Crash enjoys a seat by the holiday fire (and holiday cookies). Little does
he know that his reign as sole dog of the house is about to end. (12/02)
Our dog Crash looks on me lovingly. (06/02)
Here, we bare teeth at each other. (06/02)

My God! Look at those teeth! (06/02)
It hard to believe, but that monstrous dog
used to be this cute little puppy. We call this photo
"six bricks high", because that is how tall he stands
if you include the ears. (Fall 1996)
Here Crash (foreground) and his brother Burn train their
satellite dish ears on some mysterious noise. (Winter 1996-97)
Burn lived a brief but happy life. He died five years ago, January 1998.
As this picture with our former housemate Kelly attests, he was a
sweet-natured guy. Had he lived, he would have been bigger than Crash
(if you can imagine that.) (Fall 1997)
THE DOGS
These are the dogs that dominate our household. We have had Crash since we got him as a puppy in 1996. We got Buddy in January, 2003.
