Spiritualism is not a belief system, therefore spiritualists believe nothing. People who follow this teaching – that
life is continuous – are seeking for knowledge and understanding. This is a personal quest and it is different for
each individual.

Spiritualists believe that there is no such thing as death. Certainly our physical bodies cease functioning
eventually, but our consciousness, our essence, the part of us that thinks, loves, and laughs (our soul, in other
words) continues on.
