Special Programs for Area Children

Children have always been a prime focus of the New Bethlehem Area Free Public Library, and with receipt of two major grants in 2000-2001, our children's collection has undergone a huge upgrade.     

Bring your child in for a free library card.  Children under18 must have a parent or guardian sign their registration card, but the card is free.

Children are our most important resource. We believe that good reading skills are essential to a quality education and a quality life. To meet the needs of area children, we host Monthly Story Hours and a Summer Reading Program for pre-school, kindergarteners, and elementary school children.
