  "I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Colonial Inn and really enjoyed it. My room was in the oldest section of the building built in 1716. I would recommend staying in this section for the historical significance. I didn't see the rooms in the newer section.

As a history buff, I delighted in the fact that the room I was staying in was in existence at the time of the Revolutionary. Also, this part of the inn was once host to FDR. The room had all the necessary amenities and was quite comfortable. The staff at the inn and restaurant were all quite nice. I would highly recommend going to the tavern on Wednesday night to hear Jimmy Mazzy and his band; they're are nothing short of amazing and delightful."
