The Hot Steamed Jazz Festival of Connecticut, a non-profit organization, presents the 16th annual traditional jazz festival, to support The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp and their outstanding programs for children with special needs. The Hot Steamed Jazz Festival started in 1992 with a music mission to bring, for a fun-filled weekend, the best of New Orleans, Ragtime and Traditional Jazz to Connecticut. Today, it is clearly recognized by musicians, jazz critiques and aficionados around the country for presenting high quality classic jazz to the area. The festival is held on the grounds, and with the cooperation of the historically famous Essex Steam Railroad of Connecticut. The festival is truly a family affair for music lovers of all ages. It is a two-venue event, with over forty hours of continuous music from many bands. Festival fans are close to the musicians, and can meet and mingle with band members between sets. It's a relaxed informal setting, loved by the musicians, their families, and their fans. SCHEDULE
Note: schedule is subject to change. To order tickets, call 1.800.348.0003 or log on to www.hotsteamedjazz.com and click on Tickets in the upper right corner of the screen. Remember, to take advantage of special pricing on a weekend pass ($75.00), order your tickets by June 6th. After June 6th, a weekend pass is $90. In addition to bringing top quality music entertainment to the area, the Hot Steamed Jazz Festival has the more important mission of giving back to the community by supporting programs that provided special services to children. To this end, proceeds of the festival will help support The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp for children with cancer and life threatening blood borne diseases. As an all-volunteer organization, our goal is to help contribute to making it possible for children in need to have the maximum quality of life that is possible
