| Hi, Marce -- In case any of your readers might be interested, I recently started producing a jazz podcast, made up of material from Jimmy Mazzy's Wednesday night sessions, in which I was a participant and recorded in 1988-9. Jim and Carrie were kind enough to grant me permission to convert these live session tapes into podcast form and make them available free for listening and download. There are two ways of accessing the podcast: 1. Go to the following page: http://www.kafalas.net/jazz/ From there, it's self-explanatory -- just click the play button (looks like a triangle pointing to the right). Or you can download the program as an MP3 file by clicking the button that says "Audio MP3." (The files are fairly large -- the first program is about 45MB, and the second one, which I just uploaded yesterday, is a little smaller at about 35MB.) 2. Go to the iTunes Music Store and search for "jimmy mazzy" -- the podcast will show up in the search results, and you can listen to the current one or subscribe, in which case you'll automatically get future programs as they become available.
