consist of Jon Wheatley on guitar, Mark Carlsen on bass, and Phil
McGowan on drums. |

This week the Phil McGowan Trio will consist of Jon Wheatley on guitar, Mark Carlsen on bass, and Phil McGowan on drums. Both Jon and Mark are mainstays on the Boston jazz scene and will be bringing an extremely high level of musicianship.
Phil McGowan is a Portland-based drummer who will be teaming up with a variety of talented musicians this summer to bring high-quality jazz to this venue. Located in downtown Newburyport, MA (50 Water Street), the River Merrimac Bar and Grille's upstairs lounge provides a relaxed environment to listen to talented jazz musicians with no cover charge.
