The Sticky Skillet Swing Orchestra is an eight piece group
consisting of vocals, trumpet, trombone, sax, bass, piano, guitar
and drums. Performing the classic swing of composers such as Duke
Ellington, Louis Jordan and Count Basie, the Sticky Skillets are a
great choice for your listening and dancing pleasure. If you want
more than swing, don’t worry, SSSO can cover a wide range of styles
from klezmer and calypso, to rock and soul covers.
The Sticky Skillets feature some of Boston's finest jazz musicians.
Members have performed with such greats as Tony Bennett, Joel Grey
and Aretha Franklin as well as local groups such as The Artie Shaw
Band, The White Heat Swing Orchestra, Lou Colombo/ Dick Johnson
Sextet, Either/Orchestra and Made in the Shade.

Our next monthly dance will feature
the Sticky Skillet Swing Orchestra (SSSO).
The SSSO is an eight piece group consisting of vocals, trumpet,
trombone, sax, bass, piano, guitar and drums. Performing the

and Count Basie, the SSSO promises to be a great band to dance

Beginners are Welcome:
Swing dance lesson from 8-9.
The band plays from 9-12.
Admission: $15 or $10 for students
