Michael Moran and
The Amazing Firehouse!
More electrical equipment needed, (and an
electrician)"One of our Jazz Jammers Marc Fleischman (piano) turns out to be an electrical engineer/project manager. So often jazz players and other artists are also science/math wizards as well! – (Lets remember this as we decide on funding for our schools, folks). Anyway, Marc called me last week and volunteered to come down and do an electrical design for our theater and gallery lighting systems. After a lot of calculations and figuring out what was already in place, Marc recommended that we add another big transformer to our electrical entrance.
This extra expense and a few other unforeseen issues have left us with about $18,000 shy of being able to install our lighting systems for performance and for visual arts."
"The shortfall is mainly due to the decision we made to spend $32,000 from stage one to do some much needed outside building stabilization and re-pointing that was scheduled for stage two.
So we’re back at it, my friends and I look to this challenge with excitement and confidence! You and your company can help us finish up this stage – capital campaign donations can run as little $100 and only $500 to endow a chair to whatever you like all the way up to naming of the building. – Here’s a link to our
capital campaign brochure. Let's get something DONE!" |
