What is Scott Philbrick up to these days......?

Doc Severinsen and Scotty at the S.E. Shires Custom Brass factory.

"We've been working with Doc for over a year to come up with his ideal trumpet. I'm pleased to say that we will be producing a "Doc Severinsen Model" trumpet by S.E Shires and it should be on the market by early fall."

" I still have my Pastbrass company offering vintage and antique brass instruments for sale and of course play gigs whenever I can.

Here he's at S.E. Shires Trombone Company, which is now introducing a new Trumpet line.   That's master craftsman Chuck Shepherd behind Scott,  being a big help.

Scott has been involved in the design and development of the new trumpet line and is like a kid in a candy shop as he gets to try out the horns as soon as they're built!!!

The name of his own company is PASTBRASS, and he deals in vintage and antique brass instruments.  We have our own line of S.E. Shires trumpets as well as the Doc Severinsen model and some of the world's top players are already using them.

Phone: 978-263-7580, or email pastbrass@verizon.net.

S.E. Shires makes what are considered to be the finest trombones in the world and has at least one trombone in every major symphony. They also make several jazz models that are being used in studios from New York to L.A.
