Railroad in PA

In Early 1985 we became interested in the history of mining railroads…  Most notably

The Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range

Railroad.  We discovered that the DM&IR could not be built in HO Scale. In June of 1986, we sold all the HO equipment and

purchased  N Scale equipment.

The above Pic was taken with

a 35mm Camera in Late 1986.

The layout was about 12 X 12 foot.

 

Most of The DM&IR was covered somewhat.

From Duluth to The Messabi Mines.
