I build handcrafted mandolin-family instruments here in the high desert country of Bend, Oregon. I consider myself privileged to be in this occupation, and I believe that my enthusiasm is evident in every instrument I build. My instruments are rapidly becoming known for the highest attention to detail and great sound. My mandolins borrow many elements from the famous old instruments, but I'm not bound by tradition and I am one of many builders working to continue to refine the sound of the modern mandolin. New! Check out the review of a Mowry mandolin by Ted Eschliman of JazzMando.com. Also look for features in the Summer 2007 edition of Mandolin Magazine and the October 2007 edition of Mel Bay's Mandolin Sessions. Please take a few moments to explore my web site, and feel free to contact me or stop by my shop if you are in this neck of the woods. I frequently update this site, so be sure to check back soon! I've recently added many more photos to my workshop pages. Click here to listen to Josh Pinkham playing a Mowry F5 mandolin. Also take a look at Josh's website! Please visit Greg Boyd's House of Fine Instruments for currently available completed mandolins, or contact me with inquiries about custom orders.

| Check out the octave mandolin on
the gallery
page. This model comes with a custom Ameritage case and is available with
or without a cutaway. It's extremely versatile and is great
for jazz, country, or Celtic.
