I create bead-woven pieces that are one-of-a-kind: bracelets, necklaces, earrings,
pins and pendants.
The pieces are woven with needle and thread, using a strong square-stitch technique
at the points where the most reinforcement is needed.
I pay a lot of attention to their durability and how they feel on the wearer.
I "road-test" most of them by wearing them for a few days to make sure they'll
stand up to coats, purse straps and a daily BART train commute.
When I think they're as good as I can make them, I unleash them on the public.
Though I go to great lengths to create strong and long-wearing wearable art,
each piece comes with a one-year guarantee against breakage.
If, in one year, a piece fails at any point, I will repair it for the owner
at no cost.
If a major section is damaged or lost, of course, the piece may look a bit different
after repair because -- almost evolving into a new piece.
