Princess Zelda is captured by Ganon, who recently stole the Triforce of Power. However, Zelda managed to shatter the Triforce of Wisdom and spread it across the land. Link now has to collect the Triforce of Wisdom and defeat Ganon!
My Thoughts
The original in any series, always must be good. That's why there are so many sequels in a series. However, if it was released now for the first time, it may not be considered as good as the others.
The fairy was there since day one, helping Link. in this game, the fairy is a very good power-up, even though it only restores three hearts, as opposed to later games with fairies healing you fully!
