I got frustrated with the three day and nights system in the beginning, that I quitted the game for nearly a year. But when I turned it on again, I had more patience with it. Even though I frequently consulted a walkthrough for help, I found the sidequests interesting and actually cared for the characters, who all faced problems just because the moon is coming down. It is certainly the darkest Zelda game yet. (Twilight Princess doesn't do it enough for me!) If I didn't play the Song of Time on time, I would be sad as the moon obliterates into the doomed land of Termina. Majora's Mask probably has the best gameplay in a Zelda game so far. The masks were neat, and I especially liked the Fierce Diety form. And of course, the story and music were good overall.
Double A's Thoughts
I think it's confusing and I haven’t beaten it yet but it’s the only Zelda game I have ever really gotten into. Although I think it is an excellent game and I love the story but I think it's more like Ocarina of Time 2 with some masks involved.
