The North Idaho Unitarian Universalists provide religious education for children in elementary school. Child care is provided for pre-school children. Middle School and High School students are encouraged to attend the formal services where a variety of thoughtful speakers present challenging issues related to our UU principles. All children attend the first 10 – 15 minutes of the formal service where members of the congregation share our personal joys and concerns and a “story for the young (at heart)” is presented.
The elementary program is based upon curriculum designed by the Unitarian Universalist Association and/or the Pacific Northwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Association. The curriculum introduces children to the basic tenets of Unitarian Universalism.
The religious education programs meet every Sunday when there are worship services, which is usually the first and third Sundays of the month. All programs are led by parent volunteers.
Come and join us on the first and third Sunday of each month!
