Dear SWCS Members,

The Firman E. Bear Chapter of SWCS and Pinelands Nursery have decided to continue the 6-year old Ecological Excellence Award in a slightly different format. This was discussed at the Fall 2007 meeting and approved by the membership. The chapter is now seeking nominations for the award from SWCS members, rather than from designers, contractors or consultants. I am sure most chapter members know of an innovative restoration project done in the past few years that is worthy of recognition. Members can fill out the attached award nomination application to nominate a project. The award winner will be invited to a spring/summer meeting to make a presentation about the project and receive the award. We need your involvement to have a meaningful award program. If you have any questions about the award please feel free to contact me. Thanks!
