The general membership of the Firman E. Bear Chapter meets twice a year. The Spring meeting is usually an outdoor tour and short business meeting. The Fall meeting usually consists of one or more guest speakers, annual elections and a business meeting.

Our Fall 2007 meeting was held at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Snyder Research Farm in Pittstown, NJ Hunterdon County on December 7, 2007. Frank Minch, from the NJ Dept. of Agriculture gave a presentation on the new Agricultural Waste Rules in NJ and Michael Van Cleef from Ecological Solutions, LLC gave a presentation on Invasive Species in NJ. The meeting included a guided tour of the research farm provided by the staff.
