NJGenWeb Archives & Special Projects
Why aren't there actual records on this USGenWeb site? When I first started with the Project, there wasn't a project-wide or state-wide search engine that would look at individual county pages for data. So at first I put all records on the NJUnion Message Board and later transferred those records (obituaries, school records, etc.) to the newer NJGenWeb Archives, where the records are easily searchable. I decided to keep files in the NJGenWeb Archives because the site has this easy-to-use form to submit your own files. Remember, the USGenWeb Project is all volunteer, so please contribute to its growth!
