My basic proofreading rate is $.30 per page for
48-hour service and $.45 per page for expedites with 24-hour turnaround.  Faster service is available on an as-needed basis; arrangements can be discussed.

I receive transcripts as an emailed attachment, print and proof from paper.  I feel most comfortable reading and marking on paper, and I feel reading from paper provides the highest quality service.  I then transfer my notations to an errata sheet.  It is emailed to you as a Word document attachment, or I can paste the errata sheet directly into the email.  Proofreading changes can also be made directly in the transcript through StenoCAT 32 or Case CATalyst.
