My name is Katie "Moon" Loadholtes and I am the artist and owner of Royal Moon Beads. My sister, Sarah, gave me the nickname "Moon" before I was born and it has stuck.
I first learned how to make jewelry when I was a teenager and have since been creating. I have always wanted to display and sell my jewelry... so here it is! My husband, Nick, is the wizard behind the magic curtain - tech support and web site guru. Nick has been such a huge support!
My one year old niece, Grace, is the inspiration behind "Gracelets". Grace wore the original Gracelet when she was the flower girl in my wedding. A Gracelet is a specialized bracelet for an infant or small child.
