WoW the show was KICK ASS! I went to the Boston Show Last night and fan club seats were great!  We were in the 8th row, the row with the aisle in front so it sucked for security reasons.  Security were right in front of us,  walking back and forth looking for people who were trying to run up closer.  Upon entering the venue security searched my bag and asked me did I have any cameras or anything. I had a digital camera and forgot to use the zoom!! I used it at first but when I turned the camera back on and off I forgot to use the zoom, so my pictures are smaller then they should be.  I am still learning how to use the camera I only had the camera for a week. I'm so happy I don't have to develop film! Event Staff did see me taking alot of pics so she sent another staff over who said, "put your camera away or will have to take it."  THERE WERE NO CAMERAS ALLOWED at this venue, but if you had a disposable they didn't bother you, we had a disposable too but those pictures came out microscopic, not even worth the hassle and money to develop the film.   If you want your pictures to come out decent, you gotta take them with the house lights on. The show was unbelievable!! 2 FULL HOURS of ROB!!! and Matchbox Twenty songs!! The crowd was much older in age then when I first saw them in Great Woods all those years back off their first album tour. (those were all teenagers)   The people around me we all 30-40 and older. I lost my mind when Rob came on because he looked SO GOOD IN THOSE PANTS!!  Pinstriped tight ASS PANTS!!!  He SNAKED all over that stage, he was really working those hips last night. That was some different stuff then he had ever done at the last 2 tours I saw him.  I saw him in The Centrum and twice in Mansfield. Rob just gets better and better!! Funniest line of the night was when he said "I'm sweatin like a whore in church!!" The whole place busted out laughing!! Adam  Gaynor had great eye contact with his fans, he really talked with them while playing and smiled and stuff. Kyle Cook was more reserved but totally into his playing, and Paul Doucette was cute when he gave his drums sticks away before the encore, and he threw shit at Rob when they had alittle band fight about Paulie's hand. Apparantly he smashed it on a garbage can. They were all great. Brian Yale was hopping around all over the stage very energetic and Rob and Adam, had this whole talk about Mother's Day which was cute! Any way here are the shots I was lucky to get anything at this venue, so enjoy THE BOOTY!!

About the opening acts:
I thought the Maroon5 band was okay, they had nice catchy songs but the lead singer had a baseball cap down over his face the whole time and that irritated me for some reason. Being a new band looking for recognition...Also his voice was too high pitched for the style of music. But I'll bet he sounds great on the album.... It was like a rock band playing a cross between Justin Timberlake's solo stuff and Jay Kay.  Then Sugar Ray came out and I was looking forward to seeing them perform but I was Sooooooo disappointed!! Mark McGraph is terrible live!! He must be all studio magic because it almost seemed like he was singing over his own record on some chorus parts. And he had his DJ and the guitar player singing HEAVY backgroud vocals to HELP him with the vocals. And I thought his voice was more whiney then it is on the records. This performance really changed the way I feel about Mark's talent
I'm gonna skip the two opening acts next time for sure!!

Thanks everyone for checking out the pics! I was really happy just to get anything. I am going to 2 more shows so I will try to sneak my digital camera in again, and if I can- I'll put the pictures up of those shows too. It's amazing to hear all the experiences of the night and I'm right there with all of you. Rob and the band put on a hell of a show no matter where you are seated!

Hey Matchbox Twenty fans! I took some new pictures Last night at the Manchester NH show!!

I was in the 8th row center right in front of Rob. Security was snatching film from cameras, way more fans took pictures then in Boston. Much younger crowd.

I have one more show I am attending next week. I am going to try and photograph it but getting any pictures at all HAS NOT BEEN EASY! I was searched twice, twice they looked in my bag, I had to have a scout looking out for security because they took a camera from a girl 2 rows behind me even though we were all clustered and trapped in, they still had security in the upper levels with headsets telling the floor security right where they saw the flashes. So I'm happy I got these!!

ROB WAS SO FUNNY LAST NIGHT!!! I don't know if anyone else reviewed the show, but if not I can tell more. He was talking on a fan's cellphone to her husband. He said "we'll have her back soon!" and he also played a "HODOWN" which was pretty funny!

You guys are most welcome! I'll try to get more on my third and final mission. I got into a show tonight in Mansfield MA, Kenny Wayne Shepherd was the opening act, so you know I was there. They snagged my camera, but thank GOD I had meet and Greet passes, the lady sent me to a huge security man to plead my case because she said only disposables were allowed at Meet & Greets. He was cool, he said just don't use it for the show, which I didn't because I had the seat right in front of security. Noah & Kenny didn't give a damn that I had a digital camera at M&G, they were looking at the back of camera with me viewing the pics as we took them, and I got great shots too, and digital camera makes the pictures larger then life, then you scale down when you get home. You can pop them on the web in 2 seconds! I wish the venues didn't act like you're a terrorist just because we want to take pictures of our favorite bands! They didn't take disposables away, So GO FOR IT, but we had one for Boston too and we got them developed, and Rob looks like an ANT even though we were pretty close, 8th. I wouldn't bother with my disposable again, unless I wanted to take shots of myself and friends enjoying the concert. However if you have FRONT ROW, or that close, I would try it!

Anyway, everybody can take the picture and use them for anything you want. I don't have a MB20 site, so if you guys want them, you are welcome to use them! Enjoy & thanks for looking, and if anybody had time to check out Noah, we appreciate that too because he is ONE FINE MAN.. and he sings the blues like no other I've ever heard before!!! ~Peace...

Drove 13 hours out to Columbus Ohio for last nights show on my way to Cincinnati! The Columbus Crowd kicks ass!! The whole place was like one big Party that Rob invited us all to. This was definitely the BEST of the three shows I've seen in the past 2 weeks!! Rob was so funny, feeling under the weather but he said "matchbox twenty doesn't cancel shows". and that Watching the crowd get hyped for Sugar Ray got him hyped to carry on with the show!!

Everybody in the place were total fans..in Boston it was more like fans bringing along someone with them that really wasn't into it. All the men in my area had on Matchbox twenty t-shirts as well! It was awesom. Rob sang "everybody wants to rule the world" by tears for fears..I've always loved that song.

I left a review of the show on the COLUMBUS SHOW post with as many details as I can remember.

And I was stoked that the fans in Columbus KNOW how to have a good F'ing time!!

I DID get my digital camera past security...I'm 3 for 3 at mb20 shows...but I haven't done any work on them yet because of my traveling to Cincy!!

My advise to anyone thinking about taking pics...DON'T do it when the arena is DARK! They don't come out well at all. My best shots at every venue came out when the house lights were on!! There were tons of fans taking pics as well.

I'll let you know when I get the pics from Columbus up!

I was at the Columbus show as well and here's my take on the event...

I saw the Screen working fine...no problems. What was falling was one of the huge square lighting structures over their heads. Poor Rob looked up uneasy and then says to the crowd "They just gave us the thumbs up and an it's okay..." and he made funny faces like WTF? as the lighting structure rocked back and forth over them. Then he added...If something terrible should happen and I get killed..."Tell everyone that it was an awesome show....I don't want to hear that we all died at the show last night and by the way, it wasn't that good"!

He was so funny and soooo into this crowd! The whole crowd on the floor was dancing and singing...and they knew the words to every song.

some crowds they only knew the big hits..and hardly anyone knows "Busted"...which was great last night and al the fans their were singing along!!

Also, at one point The sound tech comes out as Rob is singing
and starts trying to fix Rob's mic pack on him while he's still singing..it's taking a long time so Rob starts wiggling and making faces at him...after the song he says..I want to thank you guys (the crowd) because you just saved my ass! I could hear anything for most of that last song and I heard you all singing and I just followed along with you guys and hoped it was in the right key!

Rob also said to us...I want to dedicated this next song special. I see a lot of familiar faces in this crowd that I have seen at other shows and it's so great to look out and see you all again...so for those people this songs for you! And then he sang 3AM!! It was so cool!

The seats were so great at all 3 shows...I am so glad that I could see him sing so close up..you could see him really sanging these songs with soooo much energy, love and passion! Rob Thomas puts on one kick ass performance, and I'd recommend this show to anyone who's not a fan who just likes great songs and music and I'd bet they'd have a whole new respect for Rob...

He said he was under the weather..but you couldn't tell by the way he sounded and the 200% of himself he gave to each and every song!!
