Sconticut Neck and places on it, past and present

Rum Runners were very active in the area during Prohibition and even later. Huge liquor landings off of West Island, Jack's Cove and the Neck were common. Read about the 'Sea View Poultry Farm' and it's involvement in Rumrunning and distiling.


Sconticut Neck's Union Chapel built in 1892 still stands as a residence.
