Greetings!

Here's a quick gateway to all of our digital lives. The most important parts are the pictures, most of which Rhonda manages through iPhoto and iWeb; they're of the baby and us. I have a few pictures up, too, and even an aborted blog. Also linked to is my aborted LiveJournal, which was a good time for a time, but I think having children can make you less self-reflective and adjust your focus outward, which is a good thing. There are good blogs out there; I just wasn't writing one of them.

The other loot you'll find here are some of my short stories and poetry. A while ago, Rhonda, Marc, and I sat in on a poetry club that Marc started. It was fun for a while, but it disbanded for a number of reasons. I initially had the notion that I would use it as a place to read my short stories aloud (I wasn't much of a poet), but it's hard to read a short story at a meeting when everyone else was reading poems because I didn't want to take up everyone's time. I tried giving one out once, but that didn't work; who wants homework from poetry club? That, and the reality of the group was that half of the people wanted to read their own stuff, and not hear anyone else's.

So I'm putting some of the things I wrote up here in pdf format. Future plans might include editing some of the stories, and/or adding Palm-friendly ebooks.
