Paul "2-Kanz" Kranz

By day, Paul is a mild mannered high school English and Communications teacher and Drama Advisor (O.K. So he's not THAT mild mannered...see photo) and at night he enjoys rocking with the band. Paul has been teaching at Woodstown High School in Woodstown, NJ, since 1987, after graduating from East Stroudsburg University with a degree in English/Secondary Education. In 1997, Paul completed his Master's Degree in Theatre at Villanova University, having performed in a number of shows and musicals there. He has also performed with Act Out Theatre (as Jim in Gift of the Magi) and with Oakwood Summer Theatre in Salem County, NJ. He continues to teach and direct annual musicals at WHS. He coaches youth baseball and has coached soccer in town for a number of years. He loves to rock with the band and he also likes to play acoustically on his Martin DCME with a Fishman pickup or his Takamine EG-334BC acoustic/electric. Paul plays an 88-key Kurzweil piano, as well, and he takes a Martin Backpacker or a Washburn Rover guitar on family trips with his wife, son, and daughter. Paul can be seen on occasion driving his "hot rod" silver Pontiac Montana minivan to band gigs.
