Steven Herberman studied at Berklee with Gary Burton, John LaPorta and William G. Leavitt. His work with the "Harmonic Mechanisms For Guitar " series written by George VanEps prompted him to switch to the seven string guitar in 1990. He received a description and a very favorable review in the second anniversary issue of the magazine, "Just Jazz Guitar." Steve's critically acclaimed "Thought Lines" CD album on his Reach Music label features his original arrangements for the jazz quartet. |
