CIRCUMSTANCES & INFORMATION ON DISAPPEARANCE: Janis M. Stavros was last seen by reliable sources on January 2, 2001 at 10:00 p.m. Her daughter, Meghan Laudie, and her ex-husband, Mike Stavros, said that she left Mike's residence to return to her home. Janis was with her live in boyfriend, Robert (Bobby) Butcher at the time. Janis was reported missing on January 4, 2001 by the above parties after she had not been seen or heard from since the above date. Janis's truck, cellular telephone and all of her personal belongings were all found at her residence. Sources say that Janis is not the type of person to leave without notifying someone where she was going. Since the date of her disappearance there has been no activity on her bank accounts or credit cards. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
