What:   The 8th Annual International Route 66 Mother Road Festival & Car Show
Calling all cars and cars buffs. The 8th Annual International Route 66 Mother Road Festival & Car Show has over 1,000 cool cars, hot music and free entertainment right in the heart of Springfield’s historic downtown. This year’s Mother Road Festival welcomes one of Springfield’s most prestigious car show events, the 60th Anniversary Secretary of State antique vehicle show!

Additional features include:
• Festival of Cars Parade – kicks off at Capital City Shopping Center at 3095 S
  Dirksen Pkwy (Friday, 6pm)

• Lincoln Bicentennial Motorcycle – “The Circuit Rider”

• Live Entertainment: Hot Rod Stage (6th & Washington) & The Lincoln Stage(5th &   Monroe)


     Friday – “The Hit Men”
    Saturday – “Rewind,” “Groove Daddies,” “Strange Brew” & “Captain Rat & The Blind Rivets”!

• Poker Race brought to you by Downtown Springfield, Inc. (Saturday, 10am – 4pm)

• Swap Meet (Saturday Only)

• Manufacturers Midway for the restoration enthusiast

• Pro‐judged car awards, over 40 classes

TICKETS:   Admission is FREE to all spectators.

TO ENTER:   Pre‐register at www.Route66Fest.com or by calling 1‐866‐RTE‐66IL (1‐866–783‐6645) through Monday, September 21st for $35 plus a $3 handling fee. Registration includes weekend admission for the vehicle.

Register on site for $50 beginning on Thursday Sept. 24th 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Vine St. between 6th & 7th).
All year, makes and models are accepted.
