Hi, I'm Mike Cook. I'm an oceanographer working in the Oceanography Department at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. My job involves both teaching and research aspects. My research involves measuring surface ocean currents using high frequency RADAR , and making them available in near real-time to others. I received my M.S. in Oceanography from Texas A & M University in 1990, and I've been working at NPS ever since.
