Paul Bennett Oncley (1911-2011)
Introduction
Paul was my grandfather, who died a few months after celebrating his 100th birthday.
Until the time of his death, he was mentally active. He told his Doctor "I'm through",
stopped eating, and died 4 days later. (He had several physical ailments that slowed
him down, starting with knee replacement surgery when he was in his 70s that failed when
he was in his 80s.)
- His obituary.
- His memoirs of his first 100 years. This project kept
him occupied (on his Mac) during his 99th year. He only was able to complete Volume One --
the first 50 years. I hope to update this page with his family's memoirs of his second
50 years.
