LS1 Brake Swap
I did this mod by myself in under 3 hours, (not including
painting) with a normal ratchet set. very easy to do. the lower ball joints took
some hammering and PB Blaster but they released the spindles with ease after a
few whacks. I got the rotors and pads from R1 Concepts on eBay, for 100$. You
only need one other person to help bleed brake lines. Brakes went on smoothly
and stop on a DIME! very noticeable difference! LT1 and LS1 spindles look
similar but you do need to get an alignment afterwards because the spindles were
made from different castings and will be slightly different.
