Well I don't know what to write about either but guess I will write on what I went through today. Since I will be 65 in 3 months it was time to go apply for medicare today. I can't believe I will be 65 soon..... I don't feel that age except for a few aches, pains and stiffness to remind me. I have been waiting for this day for a long time as we were not sure I would be eligible as my husband worked for the postal service (postmaster) and he was grandathered in many years ago so we were not quite sure I would be eligible. It will sure help with medical expenses as I see how it has helped with my husband's serious illness over the years. We are so thankful we had good insurance for him. He is older by 13 years than I. Such a big difference in our ages made a problem when we had open season each year and had to pick the insurance we needed for the next year. I am glad to say it went great all except for trying to find the Social Security Office (that's another whole story in itself). We are finding that our town is spreading out all over the place as it seems we have spent most of the week looking for several other offices we needed to find. They all have moved but I guess that's part of the change that seems to be going on in our world anymore. Anyway...this day has kind of been a funny feeling day as I guess you come to terms with yourself that you are getting older.
