I have really enjoyed the HTML class taught by MaryLou these past few weeks. There were some days I about tore my hair out though as I could not get things to work. Eventually everything worked out and I had a page that worked like it was suppose too. I can say now that I am so glad that I took this class as I know I will end up with a professional looking page ( I hope anyway...ha,ha). It is fun to look back and see how far I have come in this class. This course was so well written and designed by MaryLou. I have had many books about HTMl but nothing compares to how MaryLou got it across to the class. She made it so much simpler than all the books I have read on HTML. I am excited to get to my final page and then I can say I wrote that in HTML all by myself. Previously I had used Web Easy to make web pages.

At the very beginning of this class we downloaded a free FTP program called FileZilla and also Edit Pad Lite which is a free text editor. Both programs worked great for me. I already had an FTP program on my computer and wondered why I needed another one as I thought that one worked fine. After using FileZilla I found it much faster and I could also drag and drop my assignments into FileZilla and they were on the server immediately. I could not do that in FTP Commander that I had previously used. The following assignments will show you how much I have learned over these past 5 weeks.
