Veterans of Bay County are approximately 22000 strong and growing daily.  The State of Florida now boast of having the largest population of Veterans in the Country (previously 2nd to California), while North West Florida is Home to the largest group of Military Retiree's and Widows of retirees.

  The Veterans Party of Bay County Florida, was formed February 2005 and to date has several members fast approaching the 100 mark.  Florida was the First State to Form the Veterans Party, in 2003, and in 2004 fielded a Candidate for the U.S. Senate and received nearly 167,000 votes.  Very little money or assistance was provided however, we feel in was a strong indication the Party could become a factor in Politics.  As indicated in the article below, 15 State are now certified members of the Veterans Party of America, a Party determined to return our Government control to the People as our Founders intended.  More about the Bay County Veterans Party can be learned by logging on to www.nw-fl.com, www.verteransparty.us/ or by contact me.

VETERANS PARTY OF BAY COUNTY INAUGURAL MEETING FEBRUARY 24, 2005

 The meeting was held at Larry’s Bar BQ, Callaway Florida at 6 PM to establish the Veterans Party of Bay County Florida.  It was noted that prior to the meeting, there were 17 Registered Veterans Party Voters in Bay County but an Executive Committee was needed to make the Party Official.  Five of the original 17 Registered Voters were present at the meeting and an additional 25 Registered and/or changed their party affiliation to the Veterans Party, bringing the total Registered Veterans Party Voters in Bay County to 42.  Several of those who Registered took blank Registration Forms home to their Spouse.  It was suggested and agreed that all Registered as Veterans Party Voters by close of the meeting would become Charter Members of the newly formed Veterans Party of Bay County.

Elections for the Party Executive Committee(Pro-Temp), was held with the following results:

Executive Committee Chairman (Pro-Temp); Michael Weems.

Executive Committee Vice-Chairman (Pro-Temp); Thom Mathey.

Executive Committee Secretary (Pro-Temp); Dollie Goldman.

Executive Committee Treasurer (Pro-Temp); Not Filled.
