Olympia Amateur Radio Society Exam Page
We are holding Amateur Radio
exams on the third Wednesday of each month January through November
at 6PM. The current fee for taking the exam is $15.00.
We
recommend taking practice exams before taking the exam. If one can take the practice exam and consistently score at least 90%, one should be ready to pass the actual exam. Some practice exams may be found at

Paperwork claimed for credit
includes unexpired CSCEs, current license, and proof of General Class
licensure prior to 1987.
The examinaton fee is good for taking
all elements until one is failed. To retake after failing will
require another examination fee.
Social Security number, Tax ID number, or FRN:
The FCC requires any entity doing business with it to have an FRN. To obtain an FRN prior to taking an examination, please go to the FCC's webpage http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls and clicking on the Register link.
Note:
Now there is no requirement for Morse Code for any amateur radio license. Existing Technician class licensees receive the new privileges automatically.
