Question Pools – If you would like copies of the actual question pools, you should find links to them at the ARRL website.
Study Guides – I have downloaded the current question pools from the ARRL and redone each question so that it is a statement with the correct answer rather than a question with multiple answers. I have left the question numbers and regulation numbers intact. Please let me know of any errors.
Technician – You will only need the study guide file (150kB), there are no graphics
General – You will need both the study guide file (250kB) and the graphics file (200kB)
Extra – You will need the study guide with graphics file. (906.5kB)
Volunteer Examiner (VE) – If you want to be a VE, read the study manual then print out the application sheet and open book review (pages 5, 6, 7, and 8), fill out the sheets (open book test), then mail to VEC (do not email). You must be at least 18 years old and hold at least a General class Amateur license to be a VE. All of the files here are in PDF format which means a viewer, such as Acrobat Reader, will be needed to view them.

Forms – FCC
Form 605 will be used by amateurs when applying for license renewal, change of address,
or vanity callsign. If applying for a vanity callsign, FCC Form 605
must be accompanied by Schedule D. NCVEC
Form 605 – For Amateur Radio use only and is sent to the
VEC. Do NOT
send to the FCC! FCC
Form 605 - Multiple uses, sent directly to FCC. This is the main
