LYNN TORGOVE, mezzo-soprano

Lynn Torgove began her career as an actress and classical opera singer. As a mezzo-soprano, she toured Europe, North America and Japan, working with some of the world’s most renowned directors and conductors and recording on the Erato and Telarc labels.

Lynn has since expanded her career to include opera and theater direction, and she has over 15 years’ experience teaching acting, stage movement and vocal studies at Tufts University, Brandeis University, Longy School of Music and Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute. She has served as coordinator of the Walnut Hill School for Performing Arts’ vocal program and is a member of Boston University’s opera faculty.
