Ofra Haza added vocals to a 1992 release of the Sisters of Mercy tune called Temple of Love. The song was appropriately sub-titled “Touched By The Hand Of Ofra Haza”. The full video of this song contains just a few quick flashes of Ofra, images taken from other videos. A more interesting video is the live version of this song, which we, unfortunately, only have a short clip of. Any Sisters of Mercy fans out there have the full version?
Paul Abdul’s song “My Love is for Real” begins and ends with Ofra’s vocals. In some ways, this was a very bold choice for Paula Abdul. The first 50 seconds of the song feature the hauntingly beautiful sound of Ofra’s voice; when Paula finally begins singing, it’s sort of a let down.
