Mudslinger Pottery Class information
This is an adults only studio; however, children
under 18 years of age and older than 10 years of age
may take a class as long as they are accompanied with an adult, that is
also taking a class.

The
4 WEEK CLASS is designed for the
first time beginner.
Wheel throwing and hand-building will be taught, along with the basics of
ceramics.
$90 per person – cost of clay and firing extra.
The
8 WEEK CLASS is designed
for both beginners and advanced students.
This a one day a week class where a variety of techniques can be explored.
$175 per person – cost of clay and
firing extra.
OPEN STUDIO
is included when you sign up for a class.
Due to size constraints (the classroom and studio is the same space)
students are allowed 1 open studio day per week .We ask that you contact us
ahead of time to let us know When
you will be using the
studio.
This way we can make sure the their is plenty of room for everyone to be
creative.
Class times available: Tues. thru Thursday,
10:am to 12:30pm, 1:pm to 3:30pm & 6:pm to 8:30pm --
studio open till 9:pm
Friday and Saturday 12 noon till 2:30pm & 3:pm to 5:30pm.
(the Studio is usually reserved for Getaway Field Trips on Friday &
Saturday)
Open Studio times: Tues. thru Friday. 10:am to 8:30 pm,
If a
student needs 24 hour access, a studio key can be
made available for a deposit of $50.00.
We recommend the students provide their own tools,
cleanup towel and bucket.

Students
under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Student ratio must be two adults in any class where other students
under 18 years of age are enrolled.

Clay
May be purchased through
Mudslinger Pottery $20.00 per 25lb bag,
or bought from Continental Clay.
Tools
If tools are needed, they can be purchased through
Mudslinger Pottery or Continental Clay. Catalog available.
Firing
Minimal
Prices to cover firing costs, depending of size of pieces. See Firing
Policy.

Pottery Class
and Studio Use Agreement
By agreeing to use the facilities at Mudslinger Pottery, I hereby
give my permission for my child (and/or myself) to participate in programs(s) at
Mudslinger Pottery selected above, assuming all risks and liabilities that may
result from such participation and release and forever discharge and hold
harmless Mudslinger Pottery, the O’Hara’s, their representatives and agents
from any and all actions, causes of action, claims, demands and liabilities
arising out of injury to or damage sustained by me and/or my child. I agree to
indemnify Mudslinger Pottery and the O'Hara's against any and all liability or
loss, and against all claims or actions based upon or arising out of damage or
injury to persons or property caused by me and/or my child. In the event of
injury to my child (and/or myself), I hereby consent and authorize the
administration of all treatments considered advisable or necessary for such
injury. I also agree that no youth under 16 will attend without an adult,
no youth under 18 may take a class without at least 2 adults attending that time
slot, to respect others and their work, to clean up after myself and
to have fun.
