My Background as an Air Force Brat

I was born in San Antonio, Texas in the first wave of the baby boom and I've been Surfing ever since. I've lived in Texas, Illinois, Alaska, New York, Mississippi, Japan, the Phillipines and North Carolina and that was just in elementary school. I then attended Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union VA, Radford High School in Honolulu HI and finished up in 1964 at Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Kamuela HI

Colleges attended include Colorado College, Brevard Junior College, Weber State, Virginia Commonwealth University, John Tyler Community College and J. Sargent Reynolds Community College

My 4 year stint in the U.S. Air Force included stops at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah; Pleiku, RSV; Nakon Phanom, Thailand; RAF Greenham Common & RAF Welford in Newbury, England before my discharge and move to Richmond, VA in1970

I've been in Richmond ever since. Married twice, 5 children. I've worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation since October 1972. First as a Staff Photographer and now as an Audio Visual Technician.

My Interests

I'm into Surfing, cyber and ocean, Photography, Keeshonds, Computer Graphics, Wild Orchids and Genealogy (Covey, Wilmer and Slover & Eastern Shore, Md; Heflin   Fredericksburg & Fauquer Co.].
