All of my work is one of a kind, unique and diverse. I explore differing themes, yet the pieces within that theme are individual. Once I've exhausted a theme, I will move on to a new set of ideas and imagery. In this way my work is always evolving along with my interests and aesthetic.

Singular Series
[1] "Boundaries" - 20" round x 3" deep
A balance of line and color is found in the series I call Singular. They are the beginnings of my explorations of design and are the foundation pieces for work to come. I am willing to experiment with scale, color, form and material. I learn from these and use them as a jumping off place for themed work.

Whimsies Series
[1] "A la Carte" - 20" x 16 oval x 4" deep
Whimsiesare intensely playful and colorful. I layer color upon color and exploit the play between transparence and opacity. The way the light is transmitted in these pieces is intended to entice you to look and to touch -- to observe the changes in the light as you look at a piece. I feel that they dare you to have fun.

Mosaik Series
[1] "Bronze Mosaic" - 19" round x 2" deep
My desire for you to interact with a piece is also present in the Mosaik series. The iridised glass tiles reflect light that fractures into a myriad of colors. These pieces are more formal, yet remain joyfulin that they glow with iridescence and shift in intensity as the light changes.

Fluvial Series
[1] "Key Lime" - 15" square x 2" deep
Fluvial refers to a river or something created by the flow of a river. These are works that contain flowing color. They are vibrant, and exhibit a wonderful sense of movement within a field of brightness. This work boldly expresses the potential of a solid and seemingly immovable material to be flexible and moldable.

The commonality within all of my work remains my desire to express things that give joy. I am interested in balance and beauty, color and light as well as a unity of imagery infused with variety. I want to offer playfulness and pleasure in color and light, as well as delight and surprise in my work. I want to share the delight I feel in doing this work with all who care to imbibe.
