Once
upon a time in the land called Comfort, not too far from here,
lived a Magic Ferrie Prince of Pranks named James the Jester.
He was a merry old fool who liked to play harmless tricks and pranks
on
his fellow townspeople. They all knew he was joking and never took
him seriously, except that the weather throughout the land was so
unbearable to live with from day to day, that even James’
jokes were starting to get on everyone’s nerves!
Hot
in the Summer and Cold in the Winter! This wasn't the way the people
of Comfort
were accustomed to living! In days gone by it was always a perfect
temperature during each and every season. The radical weather
changes made the land a bad place to live for everyone.
After all how could those of Comfort live in such
an “un-comfortable” land?
So
James the Jester put aside his prankster tricks bag and sat down to
devise
a way to make everyone happy again. He thought and he thought until
his
brain started to hurt! And just when he came up with a brilliant idea,
a band of evil New Arkians stole his Magic Box Chariot that everyone
in the land was used to seeing him ride around town in!
This
made the Prince of Pranks very sad, so he cast a spell of black magic
on the
evil New Arkians and the bandits ended up in jail for the rest of their
lives
(or so the story is told). Once again happy-go-lucky, he climbed into
his
Magic Box Chariot and James the Joking Jester set out to
accomplish his wonderful plan to make the Land of
Comfort a jolly, fool-hearted place to live in!
His
plan was to install the finest Heating & Cooling machines in each
and
every home in the land. Heating units that would make the winter seasons
as cozy as a king’s chambers, and air conditioning units to make
the summer days feel as cool as a castle dungeon!
When
James completed his task, the townspeople of Comfort were so glad to
have
the “weather” back like the old days, that they jumped for
joy and exclaimed
that the Ferrie Prince of Pranks would now be
crowned king of all their land!
And
that is how James the Joking Jester became
Ol’ King Cool,
ruler of
the Land of Comfort, and everyone lived comfortably happy for
the rest of their lives. “Long live the King!”
