ABC Hotsheet

Mitch is back in Llanview. The All-American Rejects perform!

That Mitch, ever the crafty one. While Llanview prepares to bury Jared, Mitch manages to escape his California prison ... and guess where he makes a beeline to? You got it -- Jared's funeral. And you have GOT to see his entrance. We have to say, we don't think we've ever seen anybody enter a funeral like this before. But the question on everyone's minds is: How can John take down someone as crafty as Mitch?

The bright spot in all of this is that Rex tells Jessica they are half-brother and sister. And that's followed by ... Rex coming face to face with Mitch. What Daddy Dearest has to say to the "fruit of his loins" (to quote Mitch) is pretty chilling.

Todd, Tea, and Ross are stuck in a jail cell -- and they're all ticked off at each other. Todd is furious with Tea for keeping his daughter a secret, and no matter how Tea explains it, he's not listening to her. But all the infighting takes a backseat when news comes that Danielle's missing. Her attempts to hide out with Matthew only lead her to be ... kidnapped. Guess Tea and Todd might have to put away that squabbling for right now!

Make sure to tune in Friday to see a performance by The All-American Rejects.

All this, PLUS : Dorian takes over as mayor -- and is promptly arrested; Fish isn't happy to see Kyle and Nick so close; Kim moves in on Clint; and Charlie is tempted to drink.

All's fair in love and politics

Kim talks her way into a job at B.E. as Clint's personal assistant by claiming that Jared offered her the job before his death. David accidentally tells Kevin about Bo and Nora's secret romance on Monday, November 30. Dorian is delighted to be the center of attention when she is sworn in as Mayor on Wednesday, December 2. As she is about to make good on her campaign promise to legalize same-sex marriages, she is interrupted by Pennsylvania Attorney General Gallagher. Defiant, Dorian signs the document. As a result, she suffers the consequences when she is thrown in jail. Things go from bad to worse for Mayor Lord when she is placed in a cell next to Mitch, who subtly threatens her on Friday, December 4. Elsewhere in Llanview, Dorian has Fish's back when he considers sacrificing his career for his beliefs. Kyle eases Fish's nervousness about their “first” date. Rex asks Shane to introduce the All-American Rejects at Ultra-Violet on Friday, December 4. Fish and Kyle enjoy the concert and look forward to their big night. Shane comes close to seeing his Aunt Stacy's pregnancy padding. Schuyler takes a punch when he, Gigi, Amelia, and Nick stand up to a trio of homophobes at Rodi's. Afterward, Nick is severely beaten to a pulp outside the bar.

The Inside Story: Am I My Father?

Mitch's letter leaves Jessica disturbed on Monday, November 30. Rex warns Stacy that his father may come after her and the baby, while Schuyler decides to confess all. However, he soon has a change of heart after imagining how Gigi would react to the news. On Tuesday, December 1, Charlie battles his demons when he must fight the urge to fall off the wagon. Newly discovered siblings Jessica and Rex are united in their disgust of having Mitch Laurence as a father. Meanwhile, Natalie eventually gives in when Roxy offers her a shoulder to cry on. Jessica delivers the eulogy as Jared's funeral begins. At the same time, John receives shocking news. Mitch crashes the funeral with a morbid appearance on Wednesday, December 2, rising out of Jared's coffin. Those assembled to pay their respects are aghast to learn that the charges against Mitch in Napa have been dropped. Confused by the turn of events, Bo and John place Mitch under arrest until they can straighten out the situation. Later, Clint is disgusted when Mitch refers to himself as Jessica's father. Also, Mitch subtly informs Rex that their “work” is far from over. At Jared's grave, Viki comforts Natalie as best she can, while Mitch viciously taunts and teases Charlie, who takes a drink on Thursday, December 3.

A Closer Look: Make Room for Daddy

Danielle makes her way to Matthew's hospital room while eluding Child Services on Monday, November 30. Still in a holding cell, Todd lets Tea know exactly what he thinks of her. Tea states her case about why she kept him in the dark about Danielle, however Todd refuses to buy what she is selling. By Tuesday, December 1, Todd announces he will do right by Danielle, all the while reminding Tea just how much he despises her because of what she has done. Out of spite, Tea informs Todd that Blair has known the truth for weeks. On Thursday, December 3, Ross vows to fight for “his” daughter and makes a dangerous move. Back at the hospital, Danielle seeks refuge from Rachel and Greg under Matthew's bed, only to be exposed by Destiny. And a desperate Ross sneaks out of Seattle General with Danielle on Friday, December 4, as Todd and Tea are powerless to stop them.

EVIL HAS COME BACK TO LLANVIEW

Mitch Laurence continues to wreak havoc upon his offspring and other citizens of Llanview. His chilling letter is delivered to Jessica, leaving her shaken. Rex warns Stacy that she may become a target because she's carrying Mitch's grandchild. A well intentioned Schuyler sets out to expose that Stacy isn't carrying Rex's baby (or Mitch's progeny), but he fails to follow through in fear of Gigi's response. Rex tells Jessica he's her bro. Roxy braves Natalie's fury and reaches out to comfort her daughter. Jessica delivers the eulogy at Jared's funeral and is stunned, along with everybody else, when Mitch plays Jack-in-the-box from Jared's coffin. Mitch announces all charges against him have been dropped, but Bo and John promptly throw him back in jail. Mitch drives Charlie to drink. Dorian's determination to honor her campaign commitments lands her in jail, in cell adjoining her former husband's. Mitch makes thinly veiled threats to compel Dorian to get him released from jail. Viki tries to comfort Natalie at Jared's gravesite, and Clint is livid when Mitch refers to Jessica has “his daughter”.

Audition Script Releases

Remember the drill on these scripts ...
ABC often changes the names to throw us off

10/27/09  - Audition Script for Nancy
Courtesy of SoapOperaNetwork.com

The short scene opens with the ‘OB-GYN' telling a ‘Patient' that she will see her in about a week.  As she is about to leave, the doctor informs ‘Nancy' that she will be right with her.  While waiting, the patient asks Nancy if she remembers her from the talk they had the other day about celebrity names for their babies.  When Nancy says that yes, she remembers their previous encounter, the patient asks her when she is due.  Nancy responds that it is supposed to be on Valentine's Day.  The patient tells her that it looks like she'll be getting a sweeter present than chocolate then.  Next, the patient tells Nancy that she isn't due until February 23rd, but that she looks so much more petite than she does.  As the scene ends, Nancy tells her that not all pregnant women are huge, the patient is can't believe what she's hearing.

According to speculation, the ‘patient' is really Stacy, and ‘Nancy' is a woman she tries to use her baby.  However, that remains only a rumor at this time.  The role, which is expected to be minor, should first air sometime this winter.

10/10/09  - Audition Script for Justin
Courtesy of SoapOperaNetwork.com

“OLTL” released a ‘new' audition script this afternoon for the role of ‘Justin.”  However, instead of being a recast of the teenage son of Llanview's disgraced former mayor Stan Lowell, the script is for a new, seemingly minor character.  Remember that the soap often switches character names in these casting calls in an attempt to throw off viewers.

The scene opens with ‘Justin Comstock' visiting ‘Mrs. Lauren Barnes' in her jail cell.  Lauren reacts with confusion when Justin informs her that she has been pardoned by the ‘Governor.'  She asks him for what, escaping prison?  Justin tells her yes, but also for all of the other crimes she has committed.  He then informs her that ‘Molly' told her grandfather how she saved her and prevented her from getting shot while the two women were being held hostage.  Still confused, Lauren asks Justin how Molly knows the Governor, to which he responds that he is her grandfather.  He then tells Lauren that she is free to go and all that is asked of her is that she stay out of trouble.  Molly assures him that she will be a model situation and cannot wait to see her daughter, which has missed terribly while being incarcerated.  As the scene ends, Justin informs Lauren that the Governor's car is waiting for her outside the prison and will take her anywhere she wishes to go.  On a related note, this script appears to be a recycled version of one from several years ago, when Lindsay Rappaport was pardoned the first time she was sent to prison.
