The Bible Timeline
The Story
of Salvation
The Bible is not just any story—it is your story.
Discover how to read it.
Discover God’s plan for your life as you discover his amazing story in
The Bible Timeline. In this study, we will discover the “big picture” of
the biblical story as it is presented in specific books of the Bible. Join us as
we learn the major people, places, events and themes of the Bible. We have the
opportunity to understand the overview of the Bible story. This then makes our
Bible reading and even the Sunday Mass readings come alive like never before.
Learn through pre-reading the assigned Bible text and answering the questions
to check for your understanding. Each session will start with Q&A and group
study time for twenty or so minutes then noted Bible scholar Jeff Cavins will
present an in depth lecture via DVD on the reading for approximately an hour.
- This thorough twenty-four week course will be offered in three eight week
"semesters." Semester #1 will be in the Fall '09, semester #2 in Winter '10, and
the third in Spring '10. Since it is a contiguous study, please plan to start
this Fall so that you won't have to wait until, or if, semester #1 gets
re-offered.
- Sessions will be held on Thursdays at the Incarnation Parish Center on
starting September 24, 2009. Choose from either an afternoon class from
1:00-2:00 or an evening class from 7:00-9:00.
- We will supply all attendees with a workbook, answer guide, time line card,
and other related material. Bring your Bible.
- The cost that is asked, but not demanded, is $20 for the entire 24 week
course -- $10 for seniors and students.
- To learn more or register, contact Deacon Frank via e-mail by

the Parish Religious Education office.
