San Calogero Society
The San Calogero Society receives Communion in a body of the first Sunday of
each month at the 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. James Campus. Meetings are held after
Mass on their Communion Sunday downstairs in Trinity Hall. There are no meetings
in July and August.
The Society also meets for various social events such as an annual eggplant
luncheon, Christmas Dinner and other activities.
Membership is open to all and annual dues are $ ??. Contact Jennie Allessi for

Who is San Calogero?
Saint Calogero, L'ermie (St. Charles, the Hermit) is the patron saint of the Sicilian Village of Villalba, Italy and surrounding rural area. Many of the founding members of St.
James were from this area and brought their devotions and traditions with them.
His feast day is June 18.
