Why one-sixth scale?
One-sixth scale (aka 1/6 scale, 1:6 scale, sixthscale) is a common size of museum furniture replicas and the scale of 11-12 inch action figures and fashion dolls (e.g., GI Joe, Barbie, Dragon Models, and BBI's Elite Force and CY Girls). The models are suitable for display on their own or for use as props in photostories, dioramas, or animated films.
