Robots and Rayguns

The first two examples below were done in Imagine (left image) and Caligari's Truespace (right image). I did first use both products on the late, great Amiga. The piece done in Truespace was modeled after a Bandai Japanese model kit I built a couple of years ago and had sitting on top of my monitor for about a year.

And here are some other little guys - On the top left is "AGG" according to a friend of mine who translated the Japanese instructions on this Bandai plastic model. After building him and giving him a place on top of my monitor I modeled him in Truespace. The fellow on the top right is one of my favorite little wind-ups. He was manufactured by Tomy in the late 70's. I have nine of them in my collection, but would love to have more - so I modeled him and can now generate as as many as I like. The two guys underneath are examples of what can be done quickly using basic shapes and little tweaking. They are variations on a couple of toy robots manufactured during the fifties.

And now, a few Robot Personal Protection Devices (RPPD).

Raygun1 was modeled in the TrueSpace.

Raygun2 was modeled and rendered in Ray Dream Designer.

Raygun3 was modeled in the Imagine's Organica.
